This pas
t Sunday Suzanne's Kitchen was the featured at the "Chef Tent" at the Olney Farmers Market. The OFM (Olney Farmers Market) is a great place to spend a relaxing Sunday. Every weekend the market is filled with fresh and local produce, baked goods, crafts, local vendors and live music. This weekend however was extra special because Chef Phil Glover from Suzanne's Kitchen was there cooking up a storm!
While there, he demonstrated how to make Scallops with Cilantro Pepper Jelly Gremolata (SO yummy!). As well as, Basil & Pepper Jelly Hell Salad Dressing, Buffalo Wings in Hell and Bloody Hell Mary's to wash it all down. For dessert, he brought samples of our Heavenly Pepper Jelly Swirl Ice cream, very unique and addictive! The audience was entertained while educated and left very full after sampling all of our tasty recipes.
When demand for our pepper jelly exceeded what I could produce in my home kitchen I began searching for new avenues to produce in a larger quantity without compromising taste, texture and color. It sounds silly but my jellies were always a lot prettier than any I had purchased and I did not want to give that up.
I searched Delaware, Maryland and Virginia for a good fit.
I finally found the perfect fit at Lancaster Fine Foods in the heart of the Lancaster Dutch farmland.
Suzanne's Kitchen Team Rocks the Show!
The DC Fancy Food Show was huge! It was like a culinary trip around the world. There were 2400 exhibitors’ from all over the world.
